This app allows you to control an audio installation through your voice and to establish a connection between your voice's emotional content and the sounds played by the installation.
When you record your voice with the button above a four-second long recording will be made and four emotions will be detected. One for each second.
The result of the analysis activates the feedback loops on the objects in the installation space as well as some frequency modulation played through four speakers in the same room.
The system reacts in four ways by remaining quiet or by re-synthesizing a sound file that imitates your voice's emotional content, contradicts it or ignores your voice's emotional content.
The sounds produced by the installation get recorded and analysed too. If an emotional match between your voice and the objects' sounds is found, the system stops. If that does not happen, the system repeats the re-synthesis process up to three more times to look for a match.
